The following agencies have been funded for Behavioral Health services in Fiscal Year 2011 (October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011).  Services may be delivered through more than one service location and/or funding Agreement.

Behavioral Health Services

Camelot Community Care, Inc.

Individual and Family Counseling and other supportive services for youth

 1)  ages 6-17

 2)  ages 3-17, includes Parent Groups

Center for Hearing and Communication 

Individual, Family and group Counseling and other supportive services for deaf or hard of hearing youth

1)  with Substance Abuse issues

2)  with behavioral health problems, includes CODA


Children's Home Society

1)  Individual and Family Counseling and other supportive services ages 4-17

2)  Family Counseling, Psychiatric Evaluation, Medication Monitoring, and other supportive  services for ages 4-17

Covenant House Florida

1)  Individual, Family and Group Counseling  and other supportive services for homeless or  run-away youth, ages 11-17

2)  Individual, Family and Group Counseling  and other supportive services for youth that have been thrown out of their home or who have runaway and are residing at Covenant House

3)  Residential Substance Abuse services and other supportive services for homeless or run-away youth, ages 11-17

Harmony Development Center, Inc.

Individual, Family and Group Counseling and other supportive services: 

1)  for girls, ages 9-17, involved in the justice system

2)  for delinquent youth, ages 9-17, and their families

 Henderson Mental Health Center

1) Individual, Family, and Group Counseling and other supportive services ages 2-17

2) Individual and Family Counseling and other supportive services, ages 2-17 in danger of psychiatric    hospitalization

3) Individual and Family Counseling and other supportive services for youth, ages 6-17, with a mental health diagnosis

4) General Case Management and other supportive services for ages 0-17 and their families in need of behavioral health services

5) Wraparound Services Facilitation and other supportive services for ages 0-17 and their families in need of intensive behavioral health services planning and monitoring

6) Individual, Family and Group Counseling, Psychiatric Evaluation, Medication Monitoring, Behavior Modification, Peer Counseling and other supportive services for ages 9-17 with a severe emotional disturbance as an alternative to psychiatric hospitalization

7) A comprehensive array of mental health and substance abuse services for ages 11-17 diagnosed with a co-occurring disorder

8) Individual, Family, and Group Counseling for ages 11-17 with problems of substance abuse/use or DSM-IV substance disorder

Mental Health Association of Broward

Parent Groups, Peer Counseling and other supportive services for families or caregivers with children experiencing mental health issues       

School Board of Broward County, Florida

County wide family counseling program services including: Individual, Family and Group Counseling and other supportive services for pre-school to 12th grade students, in 14 community school locations, county wide

South Broward Hospital District d/b/a/ Memorial Healthcare System

Substance Abuse counseling services and other supportive services for ages 12-17 who are abusing substances, in-home services  in Hollywood, Hallandale, Miramar, Pembroke Pines, Weston and SW Ranches

Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center, Inc.

1) Individual, Family and Group Counseling and other supportive services for substance addicted young women, ages 18 -21, who are pregnant, and/or have children

2) Individual and Family Counseling and other supportive services for children and youth, ages 2-17, with mental health issues ranging from disorders to diagnosis

 
The Starting Place

1)  Individual, Family and Group Counseling and other supportive services, for youth, ages 11-17, with substance abuse issues ranging from use to dependence.  Services provided in-home and community, countywide

2) Individual and Family  Counseling services, for youth, ages 11-17, with substance abuse issues ranging from use to dependence
