 Byki Mobile (Community Edition)
Byki is the fun and addictive way to learn a language. It locks words and phrases into your memory so you can recall them perfectly and remember them forever. It also tracks your learning progress with statistics on the number of items you have learned and lets you test your knowledge with quizzes.
Before you can use Byki Community Edition (for mobile devices), you need to activate the app with a special code. Simply follow the instructions below to complete the installation of Byki Community Edition on your iOS or Android device:
- From your computer, log into Byki Online for Libraries with your user name and password.
(First-time users will have to click on the “Sign Up Now” button to create an account.)
- Click the "Get Activation Code" button to obtain your unique Byki Mobile Authorization Code.
- Launch the Byki Community Edition app on your iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, or Android device. When prompted, enter the Byki Mobile Authorization Code. Your device will then download the appropriate Byki lists and languages corresponding to your Byki Online account.

This app for iPad, iPhone & iPod Touch is the free mobile companion for Tutor.com. Connect to a live tutor for one-to-one help, review past one-to-one tutoring sessions, store documents or photos in your Tutor.com Locker, or browse the resources in our SkillsCenter™ Resource Library.
To begin using the Tutor.com To Go™ app:
- Go to Broward County Library's Tutor.com web page to setup an account.
- Click on the link below to download the app.
- Launch the app.
- Login with the account you created in step 1.

Broward County Library has more than 2,000 public-use computers at locations countywide that you can use for free - just come in and make a reservation at a library near you.
Prefer to use your own laptop or tablet computer? Broward County Library offers free wireless internet access at all libraries throughout the county.
 QR Codes
Broward County Library now includes QR codes in many of our printed flyers and posters. These virtual shortcuts are a fast way to point your smart phone to a helpful website.

QR codes can be used by anyone with a smart phone (such as an iPhone, Android or Blackberry). To scan a QR code, you'll need a scanner application (app) such as QR Scanner or NeoReader, which is available from your particular smart phone's online app store, and many of these apps are free. Simply open the QR scanner app and scan the code using the camera on your phone and it will direct you to a website, photo, video, product, or services. |

- Text - You can also Text us at 321-285-6959 bcl for quick answers from an expert - a Florida Librarian. Type bcl as the first three characters of the text, then type your question. You should receive a reply within minutes! Text Assistance is available Sunday-Thursday 10 a.m. - Midnight, Friday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (EST).
