Development Review Services

Development Review Services (DRS) administers the Broward County Land Development Code, coordinates platting on a county-wide basis and oversees site plan review for the unincorporated area.

DRS manages the County's traffic impact model called TRIPS which determines those areas where roads are near or over capacity (i.e., concurrency). DRS assesses and collects County road, school, and park impact fees, collects School and Transportation Concurrency fees, and monitors developments for compliance with conditions of County Commission approval.
