“RECYCLE REVOLUTION” VIDEO CONTEST
for Middle and High School Public School Students
-- Facebook votes are key to winning videos--
Public school students in middle and high school will soon be busy at work creating videos about “All-In-One” recycling for a chance to win a gift card and have their video posted online. The “Recycle Revolution” video contest was developed to promote recycling in schools, enabling students to “reach” their peers through creative videos that “speak” to their age groups. Students will write, produce, direct, star in and edit their own videos following established guidelines. The public will be invited to vote for their favorite videos at www.facebook.com/BrowardCountyRecycling from March 5 to April 6, 2012, as part of Broward County’s month-long Earth Day celebration. Stay tuned ...

Solid Waste and Recycling Services and Partner Cities offer a convenient way for residents to recycle at home. With the "All-In-One" single-stream system, recyclables can all be placed together in the same container, depending on city requirements.
