Broward County Board of County Commissioners encourage public participation in county government by appointing Broward citizens to serve on boards, committees, commissions, task forces, agencies, and authorities.  Broward County Commissioners are also appointed to serve as members on some of these boards. Over 700 Broward citizens serve on boards ranging from the Advisory Board for Individuals with Disabilities to the Water Resources Task Force.

For information about a particular board, click on the name of the board listed below to view its Board Overview Document. The Board Overview Document provides information regarding board membership, staff coordinator, meeting time and location, and other relevant facts.  You can also view a list of board members currently serving on a board by clicking on the members link to the right of the board name.  To view a list of board vacancies click on "All Board Vacancies" located to the left under "Boards and Committees". Each of these documents can be printed (use printer friendly option).
